What your child
will actually learn

Not a rigid syllabus. A living curriculum built around the questions your child already has — and the ones they haven't thought to ask yet.

Personal Finance

Who invented money — and why does it have value? Why do prices keep rising every year? How can money make more money while you sleep?

Your child learns the rules of the economic world they're already living in — before the world teaches them the hard way.

? TRUE FALSE MAYBE WHY?
02

Critical Thinking

How do you know if something is actually true? How does advertising manipulate your decisions? What makes a good argument — and a bad one?

Question assumptions, spot manipulation, construct arguments — and change your mind gracefully when evidence demands it.

Curiosity Science

Why do we dream — and what are dreams made of? How does AI actually work? What is consciousness? Does it end when we die?

The questions children ask that schools never answer — answered rigorously, joyfully, with no dumbing down.

The principles
we teach by

Every session is built on a philosophy that the greatest teachers in history shared — and that most classrooms have forgotten.

The
Question
I

"Why" first, "how" second

A child who understands why something matters will teach themselves how. We never give the answer before the question has landed.

II

Radical personalization

Every lesson adapts in real time. The tutor watches, listens, and adjusts — the way the best human tutor in the world would.

III

Real-life exemplification

Abstract ideas become concrete through examples drawn from the child's own world — their heroes, their questions, their life.

IV

Socratic dialogue

We don't lecture. We ask. The DARPA-tested Socratic method turns every session into a guided discovery — not a download.

V

Productive failure

We let children sit with confusion just long enough that the answer, when it arrives, becomes unforgettable. Struggle is not a mistake — it is the mechanism.

VI

Mastery before momentum

No child moves forward until the foundation is solid. Not timed, not graded — just genuinely understood. The pace is always theirs.

My daughter asked me why money has value last week. I didn't know the answer. Now she could explain it to me.

Layla's mother

He hasn't asked to watch YouTube in three weeks. He asks to do Sapiene instead. I still can't believe that's real.

Noah's father

She doesn't just learn things now. She interrogates them. Last night she caught a logical fallacy in something I said. I was proud and humbled.

Emma's mother

The questions it sparks are extraordinary. My son spent an entire weekend researching how neural networks work after one session.

Amir's father

I homeschool because the system failed her. Sapiene is what I was trying to build myself but couldn't. It's exactly right.

This isn't an app. It's the teacher my child deserved all along and never had access to. Until now.

James's father

My neurodivergent son thrives here. The patience, the personalization, the total absence of judgment. It's transformed his relationship with learning.

Lucas's mother

She came home from school yesterday and said "but that's not why, Mum." She was right. I almost cried.

Maya's mother

He asked me what consciousness is at dinner. We talked for two hours. I'm not sure who was the student.

Ethan's father

Worth ten times what they charge. The only educational investment I've made that I'd make again on day one.

A note on pricing.
Sapiene is a compute-intensive program — every session runs a dedicated AI tutor in real time, tailored entirely to your child. This is not a subscription app. It costs $50 or more per month, per child enrolled. We want to be fully transparent before you proceed — we only want families who are ready for that commitment.
We only partner with parents who stay actively involved — sharing feedback, noticing changes, telling us what's working and what isn't. Our pedagogues rely on this to make every session better. Are you that parent?

Common
Questions

What age range is Sapiene designed for? +

Sapiene works best with children between 7 and 16. The tutor adapts to their vocabulary, reasoning level, and pace — so an inquisitive 8-year-old and a sharp 14-year-old have equally rich experiences, just completely different ones.

Does Sapiene lead children toward specific beliefs? +

Never. Our Socratic method is built around questions, not answers. We teach children how to evaluate evidence, spot reasoning errors, and form their own conclusions. On contested topics — political, philosophical, religious — Sapiene presents multiple perspectives and asks the child to think, not agree.

How is this different from Khan Academy or Duolingo? +

Those platforms deliver structured curriculum with gamification. Sapiene is a thinking partner that meets your child where their mind actually is — their questions, their confusion, their curiosity. There are no modules to complete. There's just conversation, and wherever it leads.

How much time per day does a child need to spend? +

Even 20 minutes of deep Socratic dialogue is more cognitively valuable than hours of passive content. Most families find 30–45 minutes a day is ideal. There's no minimum — and no maximum if your child gets hooked.

Why applications and invite codes instead of open signup? +

We're in beta, and we're being deliberate. We want parents who are actively engaged, curious, and willing to give feedback. The application helps us find them. Invite codes come from parents already in the community who vouch for new families.
